All services are subject to availability and site inspection where required.

3. Quotations & Pricing

  • All quotations are valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated.
  • Quotations are based on information available at the time of issue.
  • Additional works requested after acceptance may incur additional charges.
  • Prices may change if unforeseen site conditions arise.

4. Deposits & Payments

  • A deposit may be required before materials are ordered or work is scheduled.
  • Final payment is due immediately upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Failure to make payment may result in delays to warranty documentation or future services.

We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue invoices in accordance with UK legislation.

5. Customer Responsibilities

Customers must:

  • Provide safe and reasonable access to the property
  • Ensure someone over 18 is present where required
  • Ensure suitable electrical supply is available
  • Remove fragile or valuable items from work areas
  • Obtain landlord/freeholder permission where applicable

Additional charges may apply if access is restricted or works are delayed due to customer-related issues.

6. Installation Terms

  • Installation dates are estimates and may change due to supplier delays, weather conditions, or unforeseen circumstances.
  • Equipment locations are subject to engineer approval.
  • Additional pipework, trunking, drainage, or electrical work outside the original quotation may incur extra charges.
  • Cosmetic building works such as decorating, plastering, or painting are not included unless specifically stated.

7. Air Conditioning Specific Terms

  • BDS Services Ltd operates in compliance with applicable F-Gas regulations.
  • Manufacturer warranties apply subject to proper installation, usage, and maintenance.
  • Annual servicing is strongly recommended to maintain system efficiency and warranty validity.
  • Existing pipework reused at customer request is done at the customer’s risk unless otherwise agreed.

8. Plumbing & Bathroom Works

  • Existing concealed pipework, drainage, or structural issues may not become visible until work begins.
  • Additional remedial works may be required and charged separately.
  • Customers are responsible for ensuring water and electrical supplies are operational before scheduled works commence.

9. Product Orders & Deliveries

  • Special-order or custom products may be non-refundable once ordered.
  • Delivery dates are estimates only.
  • Customers must inspect goods upon delivery and notify us of any visible damage within 48 hours.

Risk in goods passes to the customer upon delivery.

10. Cancellations

  • Customers may cancel services before work commences.
  • Deposits may become non-refundable where materials have already been ordered or costs incurred.
  • We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule services due to safety concerns, supplier issues, severe weather, or circumstances beyond our control.

Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within a reasonable timeframe.

Refunds may be reduced where:

  • materials have already been purchased
  • labour has already been carried out
  • special-order equipment has been supplied

12. Warranty & Liability

  • We warrant our workmanship for a reasonable period from completion.
  • Manufacturer warranties are subject to manufacturer terms.
  • We are not liable for:
    • pre-existing faults
    • hidden structural defects
    • customer misuse
    • lack of maintenance
    • indirect or consequential losses

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where exclusion is prohibited by law.
